Leading From Wholeness

A 6-Week Executive Coaching Experience for Black Women in Senior Leadership
6 Women. 6 Weeks. One intentional space to rethink how you lead.

You worked hard to get here.

But reaching senior leadership can bring a different set of questions: How much of yourself have you learned to adjust in order to succeed? What are you carrying because you've become the person everyone relies on? What does success look like when achievement alone is no longer enough?

Leading From Wholeness is an intimate six-week coaching experience, not another leadership training, where six Black women in senior leadership step outside performance, titles, and expectations to have honest conversations about leadership, identity, power, ambition, boundaries, and what they want the next chapter to look like.

Why This Program Exists

I spent fifteen years climbing into rooms I was told would mean I'd finally arrived, and I remember the moment I got there and felt something I hadn't prepared for: emptiness. I had learned to translate myself so fluently that I'd lost track of who I was underneath the performance. That's what led me to leave and build Culture by Design™: a belief that people matter more than productivity, and that Black women in particular deserve leadership that doesn't require self-erasure to sustain. This cohort is that belief put into practice in a room where we examine how culture has shaped the way you lead, and what you want to carry forward, redefine, or leave behind.

What We'll Explore

Week 1 | Who Am I Beneath the Role?

Identity & Leadership. We'll explore the values, experiences, cultural influences, and stories that have shaped who you are and how you've learned to lead.

Week 2 | What Have I Learned to Carry?

Performance, Survival & Emotional Labor. We'll examine the invisible weight that can accompany leadership: overperformance, perfectionism, responsibility, code-switching, emotional labor, and the pressure to always have it together.

Week 3 | Power, Voice & Visibility

We'll explore your relationship with authority, influence, organizational politics, visibility, self-advocacy, and what it means to use power without abandoning your values. We'll also talk honestly about what happens between us, the ways scarcity inside hierarchical systems can turn potential allies into quiet competitors, and what it would take to build rooms where more than one of us can thrive at once.

Week 4 | Relationships, Conflict & Boundaries

We'll work through the realities of managing relationships at the senior level, including difficult conversations, managing up, trust, feedback, conflict, boundaries, and the difference between caring for people and carrying people.

Week 5 | Redefining Success

Whose definition of success are you living? Many of us were raised on a promise: work hard, stay loyal, earn your place, and the reward will come. We did everything right, and some of us still ended up asking, who am I without the title? We'll examine ambition, achievement, money, career, family, rest, purpose, and the expectations you've inherited, and create space to decide what success means to you now, on your own terms.

Week 6 | Leading From Wholeness

We'll bring the work together and ask: Who am I becoming as a leader?

You'll create your personal Culture by Design™ Leadership Blueprint to define how you want to lead, what you want to protect, what you're no longer willing to normalize, and the culture you want to create around you.

What Makes This Different

This is not six weeks of sitting through presentations. We'll learn together, but we'll also coach, bringing real situations into the room: the conversation with your CEO you're avoiding, the decision you're second-guessing, the boundary you're struggling to hold, the promotion you're not sure you actually want, the exhaustion you haven't said out loud.

This is a space where you don't have to perform competence. You can come into the room still figuring it out.

The Experience

  • 6-week live virtual cohort: Mondays, September 21 to October 26, 12:00 to 2:00 PM Eastern
  • Limited to 6 Black women
  • Each session is led by me as an ICF-certified PCC coach, combining executive coaching, facilitated group conversation, leadership development, and practical application. This isn't a workshop, it's coaching
  • Between sessions, you'll receive reflection exercises and leadership tools to carry the work into your actual, daily leadership

This Experience May Be For You If...

  • You're a Black woman currently serving in senior leadership or carrying significant leadership responsibility.
  • You've achieved a level of professional success but are beginning to question what you want leadership and success to look like moving forward.
  • You're navigating workplace stress, organizational politics, increased visibility, leadership transitions, burnout, boundaries, or changing ambition.
  • You want a confidential community of other Black women where you can talk honestly about leadership without having to explain every layer of your experience.
  • And you're willing to examine yourself, not just your workplace.

I know what it costs to lead without wholeness. This cohort is what I'm building in response. — Lula

Because this first cohort is intentionally limited to six women, I'm looking for participants who are ready to engage deeply, contribute to the community, and do the work alongside one another. Complete the short interest form and I'll read every response myself and follow up with next steps.
